right, im up to 8 friends now, so its all systems go.
not sure if i should just try and add her as a friend first, or send a message letting her know its me. might do both.

is it possible to remove yourself as a friend once youve accepted?
im 100% sure it said i had 9 friends, then when i clicked on view all friends to see if it was her whod accepted it went back to just 8 friends.
im worried she accepted, then read the message i sent her (was a bit manic i admit) and removed me as a friend right away or something.
is this possible?

On your myspace home page, click freinds requests, then on the left hand side click pending requests, that'll tell you.
