Years ago he was telling everyone about the Muslim gangs that were raping underage white girls and nobody listened to him. Years ago he was telling everyone about Muslim radicalisation in jails and how they'd bring murder onto our streets and nobody listened to him. He's popular because he tells it how it is.

What he's actually saying isn't wrong.

There was a culture of grooming among South Asian predominantly Pakistani Muslim men. When he brought this up, there was no interest in a debate because the possibility that it could be true sounded too bigoted. So instead he was met with whataboutery and counter accusations of racism. We've since learned that he was actually right about it and this cannot be argued.

A lot of what he actually says, is true. I don't think I've ever seen him admit to being wrong or concede a point when it went against his narrative so I'm not sure how open to debate he is himself and that's not a good thing. You have to be willing to admit when you're wrong imo.

But he as a person is not the right man to be at the forefront of the discussion. I think what he does is take something that a lot of people are concerned about and builds a brand for himself with it. Might not have been his intention to start off with but it's definitely what he's doing now. Not that that's wrong it's just my observation.

Overall I've been put off by him because of his behaviour. Portraying yourself as a guy from the streets who is just like I am only goes so far before I start to think there is no need for him to do some of the things he does. There is no need to take cameras and barge into buildings or get into violent incidents. It's like I've seen him say things like Muhammad is a nonce. What good is that going to do other than rile people up?

What are your thoughts on Douglas Murray, Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Maajid Nawaz and others? Is everything they say wrong as well? Because they really don't say much that Robinson doesn't but they mostly avoid the same backlash because they conduct themselves much better.

Some of what they say may hold water but a lot of what they say is downright lies that plays on people’s insecurities. People lap up what they report without validating any of the “facts”.

That is not what he has said. This is a good example of the whataboutery I mentioned previously.

What he said was that there is a culture of grooming in the Islamic communities that is unique and was not being challenged or tackled.

You are aware that the statements that statistically most sex offenders are non Muslim (in a majority non Muslim country) and there is a unique culture of grooming in Islamic communities despite most Muslims not being involved can both be true? They don't contradict each other.

Also I don't think the things he talks about are as problematic or widespread as people think they are.

I think there are much bigger issues society needs to tackle.
