People like myself questioned the numbers at the time and backed it up, was called all the names under the sun for it on here, banned from thread/s and then account banned - for saying the threat and numbers were exaggerated, which Chris Whitty has now admitted.

As I mentioned prior, I worked for the NHS in that period and I attended shitloads of clinics and hospitals in the north west - they were all empty, I’ve no reason or motivation to lie about this.

Theres no shame in admitting you were wrong about some of it - you were on the receiving end of a relentless, daily psychological campaign by SAGE and the Government, many won’t though, because…

I think most realise now that you can’t fully trust what a GP prescribes, just salesmen a lot of the time.

I disagree i think we are in the minority, I've a mate that have been on blood pressure tablets for years but still eats pure shit instead of trying to help himself, you only have to look at this place, we are defo in the minority that don't trust them, granted more people are waking up, the fella in the doc doesn't actually blame the doctor's it's the powers that be knowingly feeding them disinformation, apparently a lot of stuff doctors learn at medical school gets proven to wrong within five years.

Yeah agree, I probably worded my response wrong. I haven’t seen an actual GP in years, just a couple of chats with a nurse practitioner, but I will refuse to see the one that I’ve been given as I think that she’s definitely compromised. My brother in law was prescribed BP tablets a couple of years ago although it wasn’t drastically high but he refused and started drinking concentrated beetroot juice . His score was back to normal by the next visit and his GP conceded that it was a viable option but just shrugged his shoulders when he was asked why the option wasn’t discussed previously. As you say most just wanna crack on and take the tablets because altering their lifestyle is too much like hard work.

Correct, Drs. CAn only prescribe stuff from the pharmacopeia - think Argos catalogue for pharma drugs.

Also, in their 5 years studying to be come a Dr they spend 2 weeks max on nutrition…

So whilst I wouldn’t say don’t trust your GP I would say to use your own initiative too.

Couple of weeks back my mate's son fell off his bike, they took him up A&E to get it checked out. They diagnosed that he had broken his elbow, and put him in a cast. A week later up at the hospital they realised that the bone wasn't broken and he had soft tissue damage.

Good job it wasn't serious.
