He's isolated for 7 days, spoke to his doctor who's given him the all clear.

Obviously he needs to be careful but there's no double standards here, apart from him having easy access to a doctor, which most of us don't.

New research published today is suggesting that people with mild cases are still infectious 8 days after they start to feel better.

My old man has recently had a triple bypass, father in law is 74, my sister is a microbiologist testing for covid and has 3 kids of her own to deal with.

I've no doubt the 7 day cycle was merely a best guess at the time.

So you're infectious before you get symptoms and still infectious after symptoms go away.
No wonder this virus is spreading so fast.

The only problem with this theory (and similarly for people thinking Boris doesn't have it) is that if either were to subsequently catch it 'for real' and get quite sicky-bad, they'd have a problem saying that the first time around must have been a mistake.
