CLASSIC: I've been 'accepted' on the Doll Forum, thread started

It'll be pulled within an hour. Too many guests viewing and the other newbies won't help.

Just made some posts. I did the first one Saturday but it was only cleared for showing late last night. I can now post unmoderated although they may ban me if everyone replies to my posts. Its slow on there and neeeds patience

Hey everyone,

I'm new here and not really sure what to say! I came across a link to this forum on another one I lurk on so said i might join up as I'm based in the UK.

I've only recently become interested in dolls to tell the truth. I won't lie, i was under the impression you needed to have something wrong with you to consider, i apologise!

But my friend davidian, who has some different tastes, introduced me to his doll collection. he has some wonderful dolls including a 4-piece based on metallica, it's very impressive but not my style to be honest.

when i did see his dolls it sparked something inside of me and my intrigue has grown and grown. like i mentioned i started to lurk on that other forum having found it on google and i was amazed to see so many like minded "weirdos"

i put off getting a doll for a while, still unsure about it, but the more i read the more i realised it was the right thing to do. The first doll i got I decided to name sylvie after an old girlfriend. Sylvie is a saucy temptress and comes from deepest, darkest france. it truely has opened my eyes having sylvie and we have had some interesting capers already and i hope to expand my collection in due course. and hopefully with advice from the resident experts on here.

I hope that doesnt bore anyone but just thought i'd introduce myself. (i like trying out these smilies too :eek: )
