In this day and age why don't the scousers come into town on the train? For years and years I can't recall seeing a group of them, even just normal blokes coming for a drink. The only time I can recall is back in about 98, when loads of United used to drink in the Old Garratt. You could see about 15 of them walking up outside, and everyone in there knew they were scousers. They walked in, and the place just fell silent for a moment with everyone staring at them. Without a word, they immediately turned around and scarpered quick as fuck. I remember reading some police report last year that said there were only about 100 that travelled to the game on the train all day. There must be 60 United just in the Bee Hive near the Adelphi every single year. Maybe this weekend will be different, but I can't see it.
