Have to agree with this. The derby is the game I shit it about more than any other each season. May be it's because I'm from Manchester rather than some small town near Thirsk.

Also I was stood on the kippax for the 5-1 and still feel a bit fucking traumatised by it 22 years later.

How can anyone not regard City as one of our main rivals, this hasn't suddenly come about in the last 18 months since they got all thoer money. We've always hated those cunts, they hate us and rightly so.

If you're from Manchester you'll understand why, telling anyone who will listen how they're the only club in Manchester, how can that not rile any United fan. Fair enough you might say laugh it off and just feel sorry for them but its a slap in the face to our club. I celebrate more winning this fixture than any other in the league ****
 
To be fair city did become a bit of an irrelevance, in the same way that Leeds has become. My hatred has re surfaced though recently with their emergence. I do think that it is a Manc thing though!
 
City are a joke. Always have been since ive been alive and nomatter what they achieve they'll still be the same bunch of pathetic smalltime bastards. A major irritance and a huge pain in the arse ofcourse but still the same useless fuckwits they always were.

Every time we play Liverpool I think to myself, "I hate these cunts more than city." and every time we play city I think to myself, "I hate these cunts more than the scousers."

I don't have a single mate who supports Liverpool but am in constant contact with the bitter blue cunts so I'll always hate them more than the scousers.

Not that arsed about Leeds tbh, but I suppose that will all change once they get back in the Prem.

Chelsea are nothing but title rivals.

You know I’m not so sure on that, I reckon it’s close but I would ATM put Liverpool above them, Liverpool was winning the lot when I wanted United to be winning, all my young life I had them scouse twats plastered all over the papers or on the TV, winning trophy after trophy, and their ex players are still plastered all over the television, you can’t escape the phlegm....

What have City been in reality? a minor inconvenience, they’ve spent half the time in the lower divisions, even now with their lottery win, they’re trying their damn hardest to fuck things up.....:D

Most of my childhood they were dropping up and down the league like a fucking yo-yo and when they were in the league United smashed them.


Wasnt untill they came back up in 2002 (A travesty in itself because they should have festered and rotted in the lower leagues where they belong) that they became a relevance on the pitch and they had the run of us for a period. United put in some really gutless displays around that time 3-1 maine road, 1-1 OT, 4-1 council house 0-0 ot, 3-1 council house 1-1 OT etc etc

I know a couple of scousers at work but wouldn't exactly go for a pint with them.

PS: i’m a manc born and bred, I’m not saying I don’t hate City, I do with a passion, but how can anyone say they’re more our rivals than Liverpool, we’ve spent the last few years hardly even playing them, we were mearly laughing at them as they struggled in the lower divisions, and when we did play them normally we beat them, apart from a few occasions, and they were never our rivals for the league when they was in the top division, they were trying their hardest to avoid relegation which was also funny as hell....

I don’t know maybe it’s an age thing, because I grew up hating the scouse cunts, and because they’ve not really challenged for the league for some time, maybe the younger United fans hatred has mellowed , or in some cases its not even hatred anymore.....

Liverpool have always been the club that 99.9% of my hatred is directed towards.

It doesn't matter what the competition, i will get satisfaction even if they lose a friendly game.

City on the other hand have hardly been noticed for the past 30 years so i suppose it depends on what generation you are from.
