I actually hate them more now than I did when they were winning everything in the 70s/80s. I think it's the fucking sickly media love-in & hypocritical victimhood that they're known for now rather winning trophies.

I was speaking to a city lad at work yesterday and he said it's the only game of the season he wants us to win because he's grown to hate the fuckers with a passion.

Just watched the video of 88/89 posted up and fuck me I hated those bastards with a passion back then.
Hatred for Whelen, McMahon, Aldridge, Rush, Dalglish is on another level to hatred for Salah, Mane and Firminho.
