2) Maybe you should try reading the whole thing, it explains that the comments were specifically about the Omicron variant, and likely at a time when they didn't have much evidence one way or the other.

I can’t be arsed doing a full search, but a quick search led me to an EU document that said it’s 13.7%. I’ve read 20% elsewhere.

Malta has 53.3%.

This I will absolutely give you. There wasn't enough effort put into keeping basic NHS services running during lockdown. However, without lockdown there would have been no effective NHS within a couple of months.

Sorry, the vaccine has killed a very few people yes. All vaccines do. I should have said the vaccines are not responsible for all but a tiny fraction of the increase in excess deaths.

It's entirely possible that more people will be dying from complications arising from a previous covid infection, as that can do some pretty serious shit to your body, the effects of which may be permanent and life altering.
