I wanted a GR mostly because they are placid and kid-friendly. The fact she is now fluffy and has the awww factor is a bonus I don't deny.

What's your excuse for being a no-reson-miserable-twat?

Don't feel bad about having your dag put down, it is the responsible thing to do if there is no other way. A dag deserves it's dignity and if it has lost that the correct thing is to put it down. I have had loads of dags put down, one I remember was born into my hands and many years later I was with her when she went.
She was a good dag and it was my duty to her.
But it never gets any easier.

the dag before last,a beautiful irish red setter called megan,was put to sleep in my arms in my lounge.
absolutely horrible.
you just know whenever you get a dag,you're setting yourself up for heartbreak at some point.

Viper on the trampoline, she has torn a hole in the safety net and when the wind blows it she practices her bitework on it.:eek:
She is always on it, she can see over fences from there.
